gracias Señor por tan este increíble
día: y por el verde espíritu saltarín de los árboles,
por este azul soñado como cielo; gracias por todo
lo natural, por todo lo infinito, por lo que dice sí

(estuve muerto y hoy estoy de nuevo vivo;
hoy es el cumpleaños del sol, el cumpleaños
de la vida, del amor y las alas, de la alegre
grande, cambiante, ilimitada tierra)

¿cómo podría viendo, escuchando, tocando
y respirando algún –levantado del no
de la nada absoluta– ser simplemente humano
dudar, oh inimaginable Vos?

(ahora los oídos de mis oídos oyen,
ahora los ojos de mis ojos ven)
